Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Nutri Logic AI mobile application ("the app"), operated by Eoin McMahon ("we", "us") in Ireland. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Nutri Logic AI is a nutrition tracking app that uses artificial intelligence to analyse meals, estimate nutritional content, generate personalised calorie and macro plans, and provide nutrition coaching. Some features read activity data from Apple Health or Health Connect with your permission.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 16 years old to use the app.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information during onboarding; your plan is only as good as the inputs.

3. Premium subscription

• Premium is an auto-renewing monthly subscription purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings — subscriptions cannot be cancelled inside the app itself.
• Where a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their respective policies.

4. AI-generated content and health disclaimer

• Nutrition breakdowns, plans, and coaching responses are generated by AI and are estimates. They can be inaccurate or incomplete. Portion estimates from photos are approximations.
• The app is not a medical device and does not provide medical, dietetic, or clinical advice. It is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare professional.
• Do not rely on the app to manage a medical condition (including diabetes, eating disorders, or allergies). Always verify nutrition information where accuracy is critical to your health.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, including attempting to reverse engineer it, abuse or overload the AI services, circumvent subscription controls, or use the app for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the data you enter (logs, photos, profile). You grant us the limited licence needed to store, process, and display it back to you, including processing photos and queries through our AI provider to deliver the features you request.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the app available and improving, but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change over time. We may modify or discontinue parts of the service, and will endeavour to give notice of material changes.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made in reliance on AI-generated estimates. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including under Irish and EU consumer law.

9. Termination

You can stop using the app and request account deletion at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (including limitations of liability) survive termination.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also benefit from any mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence.
